Eurobond is a bond issued in domestic currency of the issuer but sold outside of the issuer’s country.
When a corporation issues a bond in its domestic currency and sells those bonds to investors in other countries that bond is known as a Eurobond. Investors in many countries often have interest in purchasing bonds of well known issuers regardless of the currency in which the bond is denominated.
