Super Designated Order Turn Around System (SUPER DOT) now the Super Diisplay Book is the electronic order routing system, used by the NYSE to route orders directly to the specialist / DMM post.
Most orders that are executed on the NYSE will be routed directly to the specialist’s / designated market maker’s post electronically for execution by the Super DOT now the super diplay book. The system bypasses the floor brokers and is used to execute most orders on the NYSE. Floor brokers will handle the larger and more complex orders.
