Workable indication is an indication of the prices and yields that a municipal securities dealer may be willing to buy or sell bonds.
Most municipal bonds are not actively traded and can be hard to locate. A municipal bond dealer will give a workable indication or the terms and conditions at which they may be willing to trade a certain number of bonds. A workable indication is not a firm quote and is not binding on the dealer.
